Birth Support
As a birth support person, I aim to help each family member remain present during their birth experience by employing hands-on pain management and relaxation techniques, communicating with hospital staff, facilitating productive conversations with medical providers, advising and caring for birth partners, and beyond. Want to know more about what a doula does and why you may want to work with one?
Support Packages
I offer complimentary Video Call consultations to answer your questions, discuss how I can support you, and see if I may be a good fit for your birth support. Please reach out here to schedule.
Virtual Support
Flexible, custom support package that includes continuous availability via phone, text, or video calls for the duration of your birth, as well as prenatal preparation and postpartum in-person or virtual visits, if desired.
Best for:
- Families who prefer a more private birth experience while maintaining access to the expertise, knowledge, and support of an experienced doula via text, phone, or video calls
- Experienced birth-givers who want to have a doula on call for suggestions and support without being physically present
Fee: $1000 - $2000, depending on how many pre- and post-birth meetings or visits are included
In-Person Support
Basic package (most popular)
- Phone, email, text, and video call support throughout pregnancy
- 2 in-person prenatal sessions (approximately 2 hours each) where we discuss your pregnancy thus far, how I can best support you and your family, birth preferences, concerns, special considerations and more, as well as reviewing comfort measures for birth (massage, counter pressure, breathing, positions and more). I can help you to prepare your home for when birth begins and prepare for the arrival of your baby.
- Attendance at your birth: I am on call from week 37 of your pregnancy until your baby is born. I will join you for your birth at a mutually agreed-upon time and remain with you for immediate postpartum support and assistance with feeding your baby
- One postpartum visit, usually within the first week you are home, to see how you’re doing, talk through your birth experience, assist with lactation/feeding and baby care as needed, and make recommendations or connect you with any resources you may need
Best for:
- First-time parents
- People who have given birth before but desire more support and information
Fee: $3250
